Ventura Investment Co. staff visited the Boys and Girls Club of Westside Santa Barbara for a playdate and annual $5,000.00 donation on June 22, 2022. The Camarillo-based real estate investment firm is an active contributor to Boys and Girls Clubs in markets where it owns apartment communities and commercial properties.

Ventura Investment Co. Participates in Habitat for Humanity Build Day

Ventura Investment Co. participated in the Habitat for Humanity’s Build Day event. They were happy to have the chance to come together and support the goal in creating safe and affordable housing for families in need. Ventura Investment Co. is an active participant in Build Day and will be attending the 8th Annual Hearts and Hammers Dinner & Auction Benefit hosted by Habitat for Humanity this April 2022.

Ventura Investment Co. makes 2022 Donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Camarillo

Ventura Investment Co. recently donated $5,000.00 to the Boys and Girls Club of Camarillo, as part of a
$25,000.00 commitment. The Club will use funds to enhance current infrastructure and create more
opportunities for its youth to learn and grow. Ventura Investment Co. is committed to supporting
organizations that support youth and affordable housing in the central coast, including an upcoming
presentation to the Santa Barbara Westside Boys & Girls Club. The firm has owned and operated residential
communities and commercial properties in Ventura County since 1958.

Ventura Investment Co. Donates to Boys & Girls Club For ‘Expanding Possibilities’ Expansion Project

On Friday, November 8th, Ventura Investment Co. presented a donation of $5,000.00 to the Boys & Girls Club of Camarillo. This donation was given on behalf of Ventura Investment Co.’s Camarillo Apartment Communities – Villa Campana, Ivy at Pickwick Park, & Villas at the Park. The Camarillo communities of Ventura Investment Co. will donate $25,000 over a 5 year period to go towards the expansion and remodel of the Boys & Girls Club of Camarillo. 

All three property managers, Brent Bailey of Villa Campana, Sarah Taylor of Ivy at Pickwick Park and Alejandro Lopez of Villas at the Park were there to present the check to the children and the CEO of the Boys & Girls Club, Roberto Martinez. Ventura Investment Co.’s Senior Asset Manager Jennifer O’Neal and Marketing & Events Coordinator Hillary Packard were also there to show their support.

This donation will help towards the ‘Expanding Possibilities’ club expansion of the Boys & Girls Club of Camarillo, which has seen a 236% expansion in membership growth over the last 7 years and currently services up to 400 children a day. The 6500 sq ft addition will aim to provide more teen and middle school youth programming, better serve the youth with special needs and provide more education and opportunity in technology and sciences.

Ventura Investment Co. Participates in Habitat for Humanity Build Day

On Friday October 4th, employees at Ventura Investment Co. got to raise their hammers and participate in a Build Day for Habitat for Humanity, a global non-profit housing organization that helps families in need of affordable housing.

Working side by side with Habitat for Humanity contractors, staff members from Ventura Investment Co. spent the day volunteering at the build site of the 2521 Barry Street project in Camarillo. This project is the construction of two single family homes that will be restricted and maintained as affordable housing for the next 55 years. Each home will consist of two stories and are estimated to be roughly 1400-1500 square feet. The volunteers assisted in various different tasks on site and were proud to be actively involved with the construction of the garage structure, along with other projects throughout the day.

Senior Asset Manager, Jennifer O’Neal said, “The Build Day with Habitat for Humanity is one of my favorite volunteer events that we participate in. It is a great way to spend time with co-workers in a fun environment, all while giving back to the community!”

Ventura Investment Co., a Camarillo-based real estate investment firm, is actively involved with community outreach and has donated to over 60 local non-profit organizations in the area and has leaders in appointed government positions. They participate in a Build Day every year with Habitat for Humanity and continue to be a big supporter of the organization.
